Audi Porsche Rs2 Owners Club & Register Worldwide

Hi All

We are 3 guys (Nik Gannaway from NZ, Rico Dieling from Germany and me from Denmark) who made a RS2 register and owners club a couple of years ago, which is strickly for RS2 owners.

Our main goal was and still is to get as many RS2 owners together, to share knowledge and history about their cars. Givin this the little production number of 2891, it is only the few who actually knows what it is. I know for a fact that a lot of people just think it is a S2 with a bodykit, bigger turbo and injectors, but the car is so much more than that, both production wise, but also that this car was one of the keyelements of getting Porsche AG through the terrible 90's turn around.

Currently we have 180 members from all around the world in the group, and data and history from 290 cars around the world.

When the RS2 turned 20 years in 2014, we had a get together in Ingolstadt and Stuttgart, to celebrate the RS2. Which Rico Dieling was the keyholder of that event.

Hi Guys, I'm Nik from NZ (as mentioned above my Phillip), I'm the other end of the scale, I drive my RS2 as a daily and an getting close to 280,000kms. I'm sure 99% of my clients feel sorry for me driving this old Audi wagon
I guess it's different strokes for different folks, some like a garage queen/weekend car while others like to daily )like myself).

I totally agree, mine started out, with the intention to use it as a daily driver, it wasn't road taxed, for Denmark, since it had only been driven in Germany (Nurnberg) from october 1994 to 2003, 95000 km in total, where it was imported to Denmark, by a car nut, who had for two years before i bought it in 2005, with the intention of using it daily, the thing is that in Denmark, you had to pay 180% registration tax calculated from the price of the car plus 25% Vat to get the car road legal. I changed job, shortly after buying the car, and my daily commute to work was 200 km. I found it hard to put at least 60.000 KM on the car every year, so decided to buy a Diesel car for the daily commute, and since i worked at a Toyota dealership at the time, I bought a Toyota Land Cruiser 120 D-4D, basically a comfortable tractor.
