S6 Plus in need of work (Barcelona)

    Hi

I recently purchased a Plus. I’d like to have it serviced by an Audi specialist. I also need some body work done. The car was damaged in shipping. The shipping company is however willing to pay for it. Can anyone recommend a repair shop and or body shop in Barcelona?

    Thank you!

Congrats on the S6plus. Sorry to hear of your problem. Hopefully the damage is not too severe.

Remember that the S6plus is (mostly) just a C4 Audi so any body shop that deals with older Audis would be capable of doing the work. As for the engine work, I am not sure how special the AHK is with regard to special tools to do the timing belt. I suspect the AHK is very similar to the first A8 V8 engines (which started in 1994 vs the S6plus in 1997) so a shop that does A8s will likely be able to handle the S6plus AHK.

For parts numbers, remember that you have this:

        Hi,

Thank you both, it's been a happy yet upsetting moment. I'm not in Spain to see the car in person. I've got my friend who received the car in this condition. The wing, as you'll see in the video was a know issue. It also had a slight bubbling on the hood and clear coat issue on the roof. I'm ok with these things but not the other stuff. I plan on shipping the car to the US (when legal). I'll be in Spain this summer to see it in person.

The broken front bumper is disappointing but it could be fixed from the back with thermal stitching and then some flexible filler on the front and paint.

On the other hand, the front S6plus bumper is not exclusive to the S6Plus, it was also the European (and UK) UrS6 AAN and V8 bumper, PN 4A0807103DB. It is the flares at the ends that make it different than the 95-97 A6 front bumper.

Available used often (in Europe) http://shop.autewo.de/Karosserieteil...47097092_u341/

          Maybe even Audi Tradition.

Ok that's good info. Thank you! I'm not sure you saw the video, but the rear bumper suffered damage. I figured this is not repairable, but looks to be a standard C4 euro wagon bumper?

I saw the video and I only saw a minor blemish on the rear bumper. In any event, the rear bumper is common to all Euro A6s (not just UrS6 or S6pluses) 1995-97.

Front bumper is common to the 95-97 Euro UrS6, not just the S6plus. Even with the crack in the front bumper, I think it is repairable (by someone with experience with thermal stitching). The side wing of the bumper might just be unclipped (can't tell from the video).
