I am thinking of building a new track car and selling the M3
The grand plan is to have the AAN engine I have rebuilt with Rich, now he has completed
All the work on my s2. Looking for around 600bhp but need something to drop it into.
Was thinking s2 coupe ABY, obviously don't want to gut a good one for a track car.
Didn't know if any of you guys knew of any projects that would be up for sale anywhere??

If anyone has a short wheel base UR in a barn that would do.

S2 is too heavy for track use in my personal opinion.
I would use b2 quattro which is about 300 kg lighter then b4.
OR just get MK2 golf and have fun ....

I have owned my S2 for 31/2 years.
The time has come to sell it as it’s not getting the use it deserves.
I bought to use for track days and hill climbs. I have only used it on the road and a couple of member’s days at Curborough.
I have spent a lot of time getting it to the stage it is at now.
Drives and handles really well.
Very responsive and quick in the bends.
Bodywork is good but not immaculate as you would expect for a track car.
Just the odd scratch but no rust or dents.
Everything works as it should.
Doesn’t use any oil or water.
Huge folder of receipts as a road and now a track/road car.
Will certainly put a smile on the new owners face.

B3 90Q is another option. Better shell than an S2 coupe and lighter too.
