Reversing Camera

I've just ordered a replacement Reversing Sensor from Amazon (for £10.35 inc P&P), and on the same page were reversing Cameras. These appear to replace a number plate lamp.
I wonder if anyone here would know if this will work with the MMI on a 2010 A6. (Just for the record, it's got a TV, in case it matters what type of screen is fitted).

I know that I would need the relevant cable, and probably a software update- but the cameras are less than £40, so it's got me interested.....

Any ideas?

Might be worth a punt for that price. I can't imagine that they will be that locked down so that you couldn't use it though.

My 2013 A6 has one from the factory and it's amazing how much you come to rely on them, crystal clear too.

My 2014 A6 didn't come with one, so I'd like to retrofit if possible, but not at Audi's pricing!

Check if you can enable the option through vcds? I'm about to put one on my Octavia, wasn't even an official option but supposed to work nevertheless.
