    Cordless impact gun recommendations?

I'm looking at making my life a whole lot easier when working on our cars and am wanting a cordless impact gun. There are so many choose from so i thought i would ask the experts on here for suggestions. I'm after one that can do most suspension nuts and bolts, being able to tackle wheel nuts would be a bonus but not essential. So quality would be nice, decent performance and a good deal if any are on? So what are you recommending and why?

    Thanks in advance.

As far as I know good ones start at £300 and up. Corded can be bought for just over £100. I bought a cheap end of cordless and it was good, but it being cordless, if you don't use it, batteries will deteriorate, won't hold charge properly and make it pretty useless with time.

Next one I buy will be corded, as I don't expect to use it somewhere where electricity isn't available.

Loads of positive reviews for this one.

I'm a big fan of Makitа, I have 6-7 of their 18V tools and I love them. My drill was made in 2008 and is still going strong.

I've recently purchased a Sealey one.
Cp3005. Got it on eBay brand new for 290 in a sale when everywhere else was 400ish. It's a beast. 2 batteries, good life on them. It's a fair weight but that's the price you pay for the power. Saves an absolute age and knuckles.

I spent ages looking at options and decided I really couldn't spend £400 + on something that I wouldn't be using every day. The XR DeWalts caught my attention as they are lower priced and still have high torque.

DEWALT XR DCF899 18V without battery can be had for £160 and then you can choose a Li Ion battery from 3-5a/h (£50 - £80)

Keep the replies coming guys. Andy i'm with SteveH,i can't justify spending £400 + or even Kierons good sealy machine. I'm thinking £200 roughly.

Been giving this a bit more thought. Could i not use my 3.0ah Makita 8414D cordless impact drill pictured below with some sort of attachment instead to take sockets?? This would cost me next to nothing. I have not tried it but i suspect i would have to crack the nut of normally but at least i could then unwind with the drill? Don't laugh it's just a thought otherwise it's a £200 ish machine.

Sealey CP2400 or CP2450 both come in budget for a cheap but ok electric impact gun. Just dont expect miracles, they are also bulky and heavy compared to air.

                            Money no object

Ingersoll Rand W7150, electric equivalent of the 2135Q TiMax

Your drill will spin stuff, but not break it loose, you also loose torque with each adapter.

Sealey deep impact socket set is pretty good value for money to start off with
