My take is they are cheap right now buy one and keep it or even an s3 of the same vintage buy one that hasn't been modded and keep it that way, both will go up in value. the TT Mk1 is still a really pretty car and is a design that will never age a bit like the Porsche 911 and all it's incarnations to date. There will be a great following for this car just like the coupe type 85 and then the type 89 inc S2 it's just a matter of time
