RS2 for sale... at 4starclassics

Hi all,

Does anyone know about this RS2 for sale? It's been there for a while.

If you're asking, I think it is a bit dear for the condition.

If you look at the engine photo you'll see all the small nuts and bolts are rusty. While this is not a deal breaker, it would indicate to me that the underneath is similarly afflicted.

For the asking price, I'd want the underneath to have been redone, as it will cost you a bit to aqua blast and powder coat and they re-bush everything as "you're in there". Then the question of the condition of the subframes, brake calipers, RS2 handbrake, shocks and the top mounts while it is all apart.

Having said all that it does look original, if you're ok to do the above suspension work, but not just at the asking price.

These cars are worth buying, rhd ones are getting rarer, but with this one I think the price needs to be a bit less.

But please remember the above is only my own opinion.
