It's nothing to do with live mapping.

I just want him to send me back an ECU sent to him in February 2016.

I had it ready like half a year ago or more, but you were on vacation, and didn't want it send back immediately and then I misplaced it and forgot about it.

Pretty much forgot about this forum to be honest.

This is the reason why I will take my car to AutoMark.Im sure Dmitri has got great knowledge about S2-s,software etc.etc. but communication and customer service is also very important to me.If I would send my ECU to be done,received it,and found that something isn't right,I wouldn't like to go through all the pain of waiting if and when the other side will respond.Shame really as it's a good specialist and not many people understand and want to work with Motronic afaik

Same story almost 10 years later. When I had my car mapped by one of the known good tuners.in Germany and afterwards I could hardly get hold of him. Eventually turned to aftermarket ECUs which most tuners can grasp nowdays

2.3.2 is a dead format commercially.
I don't want to rely on a 3rd party so I bought an aftermarket ECU and will tune it myself. Problem solved

Yep vems or similar is the way forward. I sent dmitri an email and pm about some other mapping on a 1.8t. I had no response. So have got a map elsewhere. I would of been happy to give him my money as I know it would of been a better job than what I ended up with.

dont have a good experience with the guy.. i ordered a headgasket and got a ported head on top... mixed the parts and sent me a customers head...
