even audi tradition is cheaper than ... cant imagine how people buy stuff from the shop...

One of three reasons..

1) Ignorance
2) Desperation to buy hard to source parts
3) That fact that navigating around audi tradition website is like hammering 9 inch nails up your nose

Most fast Fords seem to reach a point where the prices go mad, it's a function of those who wanted one when they were new and couldn't afford one suddenly have the means and by that point, most cars have rotted or been crashed. RS500s are selling for well over £60k now, so £3k for a bumper, while steep, is getting on for what someone will pay for it. Shame it makes these things totally out of reach for most of us but there we go
