If I'm not mistaken, green plates in Norway mean company-registered vehicle (not a private owner's one).

        Fun fact:
Close, means that the car is registred as a transport van with the rear seats removed. This was a tax loophole that made import of expensive wagons like the RS4 and RS2 much cheaper in the 90s and early 2000s, as you only had to pay about half of the registration taxes.

Then it is the same as in Denmark, we had 30 % tax on van's up until 2007, then it changed so closed vans had 30%, and vans with windows had 50% tax. If you wanted seats in the car it was 180% tax, plus VAT of 25% aswell. Last year they changed the registration tax in Denmark from 180% to 150%. which meant that the socialistic parties where furious. Because they thought they would get a lot less tax. But actually it changed and they have gotten a lot more in, because the danes has starten to buy bigger cars.

But my question was then if it is on green plates then, why is there seats in it, on the pictures?? Tax fraud??
          Kind regards

Didnt even notice, looks like the owner at the time got a bit impatient waiting for the 10 years to pass (then its free to fit them, but you would have to show the car and get new plates first) the time and mounted the rear seats, you are not supposed to do that

After the registration process nothing stops you from putting the seats back in, but considering the amout of money one saved on this i suppose one could expect a shitstorm from the authorities if someone found out

When I met Jorn he was spending most of his time on oil rigs in the North Sea so he didn't drive into much.

I think this car looks amazing from some angles, but from others it's not quite right...

I'm tempted to go for wider arches on mine. I think what JP did to his 'bugswatter' was about right.

imho it won't end well. Much better to leave as is. For a regular car that is not an exterme track / drag car, 275 section tires will give you enough grip and 'stance' if that's your motivation.

The MTM car was to get publicity for MTM which it did, but I won't be doing the same to any of my cars.

The MTM is nice because it has a history and is an orignal, but I don't believe that it would be a good to seek to duplicate it with similar arches. Times have moved out since then when such overblown arches were 'fashionable'.

Arches can be pulled if really required and still look orignal.

The above is just my own biased opionion which people can naturally disregard.

No harm to have the chat though.
