help finding aby s2 coupe parts

hello all
long story short i was going to buy an aby s2 coupe and transfer the engine and all the running gear into my 80 as its all a straight swap as far as i have been told.

the problem is s2's values have shot up massively and its not worth doing that way nor is it really a good idea to be taking one off the road in all reality.

are there any parts from other audis that are the same or close enough that i dont have to pay the higher s2 part prices or does anyone know where i can get hubs, wishbones and subframes from so i can get started mocking stuff up on my car.

does anyone know the going rate for engine, gearbox, subframe, hubs etc etc

based in england so would be nice to get parts round here if i can.

Guessing you want it all in a saloon? Otherwise surely you'd just by a coupe or an avant?

One option though would be to do a 20v 4 pot conversion. If you start with a Quattro of some sort most bits can get uprated improved as you go.

More than capable of getting good power and far more of them around.

all of the above was to be going into a b2 80 saloon quattro, really want the 5 pot to be honest and then more once the base car is running and working as it should.

currently have no engine and gearbox but an ALT engine route is a consideration i have if i cant get s2 coupe parts

I have a half stripped s2 I am about to list some parts from, would sell it complete. You would need a trailer and a decent winch to drag it on with though!
