    Ur quattro hot starting problem.

Hopefully someone can tell me if a crank sensor off a ann engine
Will fit on a ur rr engine as I think this is the problem on hot start.
It won't fire until cooled down fine from cold.
I have a spare ann engine that I can rob one off!

    Thanks👍

it's more likely the hall sensor in your dizzy that's bad.
ihave made a few enigne's with ignition problems with hot engine and most off the time it is the hall sensor in the dizzy that fails

Defo it's the dizzy hall sensor making problem, like Nick said.

Why guess when you could meter the crank sensor and know...

This (link below) is for my '90 CQ but may be applicable. I also wonder if these sensors are the same across the range?

I had no codes. Just waiting, used to work real well! When this is happening, no spark occurs (and; perhaps...
