recomended air compressor

Can anyone recommend air compressor for some diy spraying or blasting.

Hi, I bought a 4HP fiac model from sprayguns direct which is pretty much the limit for a single motor model on single phase, around 20 cfm so will supply a spray gun and air fed mask
Blasting uses a lot of air so depends if its a pot or a cabinet, pressure cabinet or suction

I'll probably end up buying small blasting cabinet- from ebay. Would 150l compressor belt drive be OK?

No reason why not, it's the or more accurately the free CFM which is important. A typical 3 hp puts out around 13 cfm, you blast typically only for a short time so 150l and belt drive is fine
