Yes, but there was a later question asking to stop when the problem FIRST starts to see if it's the same cylinder causing the initial problem. Once it's hobbled on spluttering for a while after then ground to a halt they all end up wet anyway.Comment

I got the impression it was a mixture of the two. I also had a few pm's though.
There was also mention of an unburnt fuel smell. But that would happen once the engine starts to wobble. Anyway, we'll see.Comment

I had mine soda blasted and made a world of deference to idle and low revs running. used to cut out at junctions regular before I had this done now its fineWhen I removed fuel pressure regulator small filter sits underneath , I think I am getting somewhere now though ,I called to see my pal Peter Morton who owns Aston Parts ( yes he has a few Aston Martins in for service) suggested looking at throttle body so I did ,not saying this is the problem but it looks pretty ugly inside full of sticky crap ,its never been off so it's going to get cleaned tomorrow ,will update all you guys who have helped me .Derek

Ok guys i do not want to start you guys my friends arguing amongst yourselves let me state the plugs are ALL sooty ( not dirty sooty) and the plugs are NOT WET .I cleaned the throttle body it made no change the engine starts fine , i ran another scan and code 00513 ( crank sensor) but also 00533 idle stabilisation valve ,now i have had this off and cleaned so with the engine running ( poorly) i disconnected the isv plug and the revs picked up , reconnected went back to poor lumpy . Had a pm from a forum member (thank you bud ) pointing me in a different direction so will act on that ,will keep you up to date .DerekComment

I am not bearen
Ok guys i had anthonys2 around yesterday he agreed my car is overfuelling after fitting 3 new temp sender,s and about 7 hours checking all the resistance in the plugs ,i want to rule out the ECU. Anyone got an ABY ECU spare which i could borrow (i will post it back ) we both agreed yesterday that it's worth ruling that out of the equation awaiting your offers .Derek

Derek,
in parallel with the swapping out of the ECU, would you consider swapping in a good MAF, as they are easy to swap in once you have one in your hand.
I see from post # 10 that you have already checked the MAF's pins and connections, so I'm thinking of the MAF itself being the culprit.
Worth doing / eliminating if you can get a second MAF to swap in.
Best of luck.
