    LED security lights

Any wiz kids on here know how to fix the new type LED security lights I've had three out of five go wrong in the last year thought they were suppose to be the nuts, low cost last for ages

They still come on so sensor is OK and have power but all you get is a very dim flickering LED

Is this a whole unit wired to the mains or just a replacement LED bulb?
If the latter then LED versions can often flicker dimly when the main circuit is nominally "off" due to residual current leakage in the electronic switch.
With an old-school filament bulb you still get this but it doesn't warm up enough to be visible.

Whole unit and have two wired to different locations so power source is not at fault as have halogen type lights running from same place, very frustrating as I didn't keep receipts

Try ordering a new LED unit and solder it in
