Porsche 912 vs 964 frame strength

Hi, anyone with Porsche 911 knowledge knows how much better the chassis frame strength and rigidity is between the 912 and the 964 models.

I found a 912 conversion to 964 and was curious!

Good question. The 912 is obviously the 4 pot version of the early 911 which are all 6 potters. People have put 6 pot engines into 912's with a bit of jiggling around before, I've seen one or two myself.
That said, the 964 is a later version of the 911 but if someone has done it then it must be fine.
The 912 is a narrow bodied car, i.e. even narrower than the SC and Carerra which themselves are narrower than the 911 Supersport and 930 Turbo.

Ive got a few Porsches. One of them is a narrow bodied 911. This is a 77 so same exterior look to the 912 but it has got a 6 pot engine so the chassis and mounts must be strong enough.
All my other Porsches are 930 Turbos so in a similar but different weight category.
