I'd adopt the fault finding methods as used by the technicians at NASA.
Just give the cables a "wiggle", that'll fix it in no time.

In my experience IT guys are not that great at wiring and cabling. (Hope I don't offend anyone. Well, except Jamo :mischeif: )

          Standard IT solution:

Switch it off and switch it on again.

That's what they tell us here, and you know what? It usually works...!!

Aha! So it has one of those innocent sounding names?!!

A bit like "having a copper deficiency problem at the power source interface..."

              (i.e, it's not plugged in...)

                    Sod off!

If companies gave us the correct budget to get the correct racking for wiring it would be great, but it never happens!

To be honest i've seen worse than that in certain comm rooms.

The worse one was when you had to lay a board over the cables before you walked so not to trip any out

Chainsaw is the quick fix for that.

Or have I been playing too much Doom again?

                      Ck.

Aye true, but there's just something so satisfying about the up close and personal chainsaw approach.

                          Ck.
