I agree that kids natural ability is coached out of them. I just think everything through the whole youth system is to structured. When i was a little younger and playing at a decent standard (although im only 21 now) u was always fearful of making a mistake. The coaches were fantastic but i think some need more man management skills. One of the best players i saw was a center back who i played along side. Great ability with the ball aswell as being a great defender. He got YTS then i saw hime play a year or so after and he was destroyed he had gone backwards. He does not play anymore. I no a few more like this.
With regards to our coaches i think that some of our coaches should go abroad to learn there trade a lot more. Bobby Robson is in my opinion one of the best and most knowledgable nmanagers to have lived and dont forget he taught Mourinho everything he knows. Robson went and was successful in a number of countries and learnt a hell of alot.

Hit the nail on the head mate, one person i cant understand didnt make it is David Platt, but his man management skills are crap.

The coach that taught me on the FA course was Stuart Hall head of Birmingham City academy and damn is that man good!

He coached my cousin through Birmingham's academy (he now plays 1st team for Hull)

Good luck to him ill keep an eye out for him. Good club to be playing for especially at the moment. There manager is one of the best coaches Peter Taylor. So many people say i could have made it but if your good enough u will make it. Did u see England? To structered to predictable same old England. They need a spark bring back Gazza
