The whole worlds gone feckin mad!!!

Just left work to go home and thought "******, need some juice" so went to my nearest extortionist and the place was rammed with punters filling up jerry cans

WTF is going on Went to the next one and same thing, and when i got to the pump £1.009 a feckin litre Paid the man in the mask and stripy jumper and legged it.

So why is every body panicing, nothing is happening till wednesday anyway!!!

Seriously thinking of taking the S2 off the road for the winter if this carries on, might buy a milk float or summit

    Madness..........

Long Lane - Bexleyheath - were I was at work today. There is a Kings/Vauxhall garage a few yards near. The traffic there was q'ing all day there today. Busy main road, buses could not even get past - complete gridlock.
Speaking to a couple of the lads who work in there - they were due for a delivery on Wednesday but they reckoned on being completly empty by the morning

To me it is quite ironic - most people are moaning like **** about the price of petrol, yet here they are filling their tanks up like its the last tank they will ever get

The press want shooting for whipping up people into a fuel buying frenzy.
IMO, I pay the same as what everyone else pays for fuel so to me I am not overly fussed.

I know hauliers have high taxes/operation costs compared to others in Europe, but if Mr B was to say to them OK, you can have half price fuel, would they keep their costs/ charges the same - so they get the benefit- or would they pass the savings on to their customers.......

Oh well, Time to fill the mudplugger up with derv.......

Has been madness in Hemel today too, the ironic thing was, this evening as i was driving home from my mates place, there were tankers in most of the stations i drove past filling them all back up again LOL

            <sigh>
Tomorrow morning, starting about 9.00am my 'phone will start to ring. "Look, we've been thinking (a new development;-)), can't you set some of the employees to work from home?" "Yes, of course, put it in writing and make up a priority list (this is the beginning of the end) I'll get right on it". That's the last i hear (usually, there have been a few notable exceptions) and the ironic thing is that i really only need to leave my office for a couple of days a week as, you guessed it, i can work from home! God forbid i do though, there is all hell let loose "Where have you been?" "You will need to stay late today because you haven't been here all week (?)" and other gems of deductive reasoning. Yes, the world has gone mad and on the news, it's official.

Wanted to put some juice in on the way to work this afternoon, not because I was wanting to panic buy, but because I was running out of bleeding petrol.
No freakin chance, Esso = chocka block, Shell = chocka block, BP = chocka block, even Asda was ? you guessed it, chocka block.
No worries I thought, I'll do it at the 24hr Shell garage off the A1 at Durham when I finish my shift.

11.55pm and the Shell station is ??? Chocka bloody block waited 10 mins to get to the pump. Un f***in believable .

This country needs a good old big swift kick up the **** at times

Went shopping last night (gotta eat sometime). Took me longer to wait in the queue (same queue for the supermarket as it is for the supermarket filling station) than it actually did to do the shopping. Didn't even contemplate sitting in line for fuel as well - would have still been there another hour later.

                Ck.
Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...

I fell foul of the queues last night as well. Taking my Midget home realised i was very low on fuel, the queue was so long that by the time i got to the pump I was pushing!

...and the really annoying thing is that, given the record breaking prices and the sudden surge in demand, you would of thought the guys in the filling stations(most of which are franchises) would look bleeding happy!

Bloody Muppets. I bought petrol today 'cause I needed it (only £20) mind you. Saw a woman this morning fill up at 7.00am and then drive her car back home and park it on the drive!

The general public in this country are stupid and selfish.

                          Rant over.

This fuel tax thingy is just silly. Even the Americans can manage to reduce the tax and they pay fook all as it is
