Did S2 Coupes ever have rear forged arms?

I was told today by an Audi Dismantler Sateside that it was scattered but available on US Coupes which some did recieve forged rear arms... He also mentoned that the forged rear arms from an Audi 90 sedan should work just as well.. Can anyone say for sure if any of this is true?

A-arms are the same in coupes and sedans (t89).

Balljoints are different and therefore the track width is slightly different. Drive shaft lengths are different because of this too.

Porkkis, what must I do to properly use rear forged arms on the rear of the coupe? Is there an option that will work safely?
