    Saab aftersales care

    Hi guys,

my dad got this letter yesterday offering him an extended warranty. Check out the first "proper" paragraph. I guess GM has bought up another company......

i had to do the Heimlich maneouvre on my dad when he read it.... he was eating his dinner at the time. Still, at least he saw the funny side.... especially since he is not gonna buy another Saab. If you think RS4s have a few component reliability problems you should try a 150bhp Saab estate.....

        LMAO. Nice one.

        £649?! How unreliable are they?
AA cover for 'only' £145? Not bad.

i think my dad's solution to the fact the car is no longer in warranty will be to ditch it sharpish.

As for reliability.... it doesn't really have any. he got the car as an ex-dem a couple of years ago and in that time (under warranty, thank you Saab) its had to have two new entire climate control systems fitted, two new power assisted steering pumps and an assortment of other things. not bad for a car of only 20K miles in three years. I fear the curse of GM has destroyed a once-fine marque....

they also depreciate like you would not believe.
