American TV veering away from Cop & Doctor shows...

and stupid azz comedies. Several Sci-Fi shows have broken thru to the mainstream TV schedule.
1/ Surface > New giant aqautic lifeform makes it's existence known thru-out the world with help from what appears to be UFO's. First show very promising.
2/ Invasion > Another Alien hostile take over based on the old "Bodysnatcher" flicks.
3/ Threshold > Something in the much missed "X Files" mold. Alien invasion using extra dimensional vehicles to emit multi-harmonic sound waves to alter DNA of humans as a way of colonizing the Earth. Very smart, scary and mysterious. CGI ifs fantastic.
4/ Supernatural...boooorrrrriiiing. Will fail by Xmas
5/ Ghost Whisperer > Woman claims to talk to dead people (*rolls eyes). Only thing going for this show is Jennifer Love Hewitt in tight tops. Another dead show walking.
