I'm not sure about the non quattro 90, but the quattros had 108x4 with 45mm offset with 15"x7" wheels and 205/50-15s. While the coupés had 108x4 with 37mm offset with 15"x7" wheels and 205/60-15s. If that helps you in any way?

Note that sedans have way smaller arches so you can't use really small ET nor larger total diameter tyres.

Looks like his ones are 14'' wheel 108 and 45 offset, would 16'' with 108 stud and 35 offset fit?, note that his tyres are 195/60/14 and the ones we wona buy are 205/55/16.I know they are nearly 2 inches too big but there is loads of room.
        cheers

The wheels you are looking at will sit further outwards, so it depends how much room you have that way too.

ET 35 and 205 width should be ok but not with 55 profile! They're way too big. More like 45 is what you want.
215/40-17 rubs on lowered cars with ET35.

                Cheers Porkkis.
I'll let them go then, cos we realy want good tyres with wheels.

Robo. It's a shame you don't live close to me. (But then, who does?) I have a old set of 17"x7.5" 108x4 ET35 with 205/40-17 tyres you could've tried (being the next tyre size up for an Audi 90). They fitted fine to my old coupé, but the tyres were the wrong size for it.

Maybe someone else closer to you has a similar wheel and tyre combination you could borrow, just to see if they will fit. In case you spot another set like those.

Any friendly Series 3 Coupé owners near Robo?

Robo, i have 7.5 x 17", ET37, with 215 x 40 x 17" tyres on my 90Q. It has been lowered and they don't rub at all. It's quite tight around the rear arches but i reckon i might even be able to get a 225 tyre to fit (haven't tried though). HTH.

                    Cheers

                    R.

Interesting tyre size. A little smaller than stock for a 90.

Not from a 1989 Coupé then. The older 4x100s. ******!

Robo, there's a set of 15" TSW Stealths for sale over on Audifans.net. He's posted them as 4x100 but sure he has it wrong as they came off a V6coupe.
