    B****rds!!!!!

I'm sooooo F'ing angry!! Cleaned my S4 today and found absolutely loads of scratches (keys no doubt) all over the car. Even got a big X on the roof so looks like some little ****ers have had some fun with it. Won't be fun if I catch them and I key my initials into their faces, that's after using their heads as a door stop ala Vinnie Jones in Lock Stock.

This must be happening either when parked outside my girlfriend's house or when I'm at my brother's as the car is kept off the road at home. This kind of thing really winds me up as there is nothing you can do about it. The Police wouldn't be interested, although I bet they'd soon be round to arrest me if I caught and beat up the little sh its! I was thinking about getting the entire car re-sprayed before next summer as the paintwork has always been a bit untidy but now I'm not sure whether I can justify spending the money only to find some brat's decided to play noughts and crosses with the keys to their wendy sh ithouse! It makes me wonder why I bother working hard to be able to afford a reasonably nice car.

Sorry for the rant guys! Anyone else want to use this thread to vent their frustrations??

********s! Sorry to hear that man.

A mate of mine had his car attacked with Nitromors, along with the rest of the cars in the street. A guy caught the little ******s that did it, but the police weren't interested. All the cars had to be resprayed at the owners cost.

Yeah, my girlfriend's mini cooper got keyed in the Penarth Tescos car park last week. All the way from the lock on the drivers door (guess they tried to break in and got pissed off when they couldn't) down the door, the back panel and round the corner onto the back hatch

She's taken it to a few body shops to see how much it'd cost to fix and they're all quoting about 300-400 quid. But as you say Merlin's, what's the point of fixing it now 'cos the little bug'ers will only be back and do it again.

She actually went in to Tescos to ask if they had CCTV of it happening. they did check the tapes but apparently she was parked in a region of the carpark that they couldn't see on the cameras. Lives and learns.... . One interesting point to come out of the conversation, however, was that tesco has insurance to cove car damage caused by "runaway" trolleys.... so next time i'll know what to blame it on!!

And i'll bet you a tenner that if you claim the car was parked where the "cameras can't see" hey presto! the'll have fixed that, just yesterday, and they will produce a tape showing this wasn't the case. Cynical? Moi? Noooo.
I have made my feelings quite clear on this matter before, but here's my nights story. Been to see a close friend tonight and my car was gleaming. Parked outaside his house for a couple of hours in what would best be described as a quiet neighbourhood outside of the city. Came out to find that some little **** had been spitting all over the windscreen. Police? LMAO.
In the late sixties, early seventies the police lost the streets to the yobs. The police themselves with their corruption, graft and bone idleness are to blame. They will never regain them. They are now doing the same with the roads. How many of you see people driving about with one headlamp/misaligned headlamps/one tail lamp or the worst sin of all, foglamps on in perfect visability? Do the Police DO anything? Do they care? No they quite simply don't as this state of affairs isn't getting better, it's getting worse. The ONLY time that the police will do anything about your scratched car is when you yourself intervene, then they'll do you. This is the way it is.
It has become intolerable. I now have no time for the police.
        They have themselves to blame.

A mate has problems with his neighbours kids - playing football and not being careful where the ball bounces. He's already had to get one of the neighbours to pay up for a dent to be knocked out of one of the cars.

His solution? Motion triggered security camera - which he "accidentally" let all the neighbours know about.

The little brats are (I'm told) being more careful about life now.

          Ck.

yeah well my story not quite same thing but my 1st car i had was a fiesta had it for 6months and in that 6 months it was broken into twice, 1st time bent out top of passenger door to get in 2nd time (christmas night) they came along kicking door mirrors of cars and got to mine n decided to break into it. they tried opening door and managed to rip door handle off, then went round back of car ripped, complete window wiper and arm off and smashed it through driver side window. As he got in the car another guy who had had his mirror kicked off drove along seen him, jumped out of his car, pulled the guy in my car back through the window (lol) and started beating **** out of him just then police turned up. I never seen any of this but was told by witnesses and police about it, they then told other guy to **** off before they done him for beating guy up. the police showed me the guy in back of police car who had done it and asked me if i recognised him i said no so they gave me his address and name (very helpful lol). i was then told car couldnt sit on street like that and i was to move it they then jumped in car and royaly fuked off (bar stewards). So i jumped into car and went to start it but without checking if in gear cos i never leave it in gear tried to start it and it jumped forward and stopped, realised was in gear took out of gear then tried to start again but the starter motor had burned through a wire coming out of it and was feked. complete coincedence but highly infurateing. So went and got bits and repaired it myself and cost me bout 60 quid, got phone call that night from police saying that i should go get it fixed at a ford garage and hand bill into police station and they would get my money back. Abit late now i said and he said well get a quote on paper for price to get repairs done i said fine and done it. It would have cost me 300 quid to get it repaired at for dealers so handed it in to police and never heard anything since. As for the guy who done it me and my friends all made sure he got what he deserved on a dark winter night but still didnt get any cash for damage but made me feel alot better lol morale of story is that there are a right lot of bast*rds out there but they do from time to time get there just deserts!!!

I have a story to tell which relates to this very topic and it conserns my son,he is 21 not violent but a bit stupid, for 18 mounths he has been terrised by a gang of youths led by an ex boyfriend of my son girlfriend ;he has had his car trashed twice he has been threatend at work three times they have waited out side for him and finaley beaten him up not once but twice resulting in broken ribs and other more serious injurys .Now on every occasion the police where informed they done nothing, Now I am not a small man and not affaid of much A fact that the police had noted on there visits to my house so much so they threatend to arrest me iI went any where near these yobs and I hadnt even opened my mouth, sorry to go on but the moral of the story is that we cannot take the law into our own hands but we must make sure that the police take these street crimes more seriousley by continuosley complaining and hopfully getting our message through, you see because as a result of the above my son has lost his job his girlfriend and sadley has tried by very servere means to take his own life ,fortunatly he survived but my wife and familey and myself are left devastated and the police as yet unrepentent,so keep on at them as the above story shows todays scratched car [itself bad enough] but what about tomorrow if we do nothing.

Well that certainly puts my hassles into perspective! Very sorry to hear that story but it just goes to show what a mess the authorities are allowing this country to become! As you say, it may start with scratching cars but then what's next??...

One of my previous cars was broken into three times (not the greatest of areas). It was never nicked. The stereo was pinched once (when the girlfriend of the time left it in the car - not her brightest day) but they left the jump leads (which were worth more) behind. The plods never gave a **** on any occasion.

They also completely failed to do anything except provide an incident number when someone reversed their tow bar into another (different) car of mine. There was a witness who saw it, waited, and gave me his details, stating he would be prepared to stand up and make it stick. Had the registration of the car and everything.

The plod action? They wrote to me about 3 months later and said there was "insufficient evidence". There was a bloody WITNESS! How much better does it get? Physical (and photographed) evidence on the car too, which I saw put in the police notes.

Spoke to a friend who is on a different force and he basically said that this was a standard letter sent out to people when they couldn't be arsed prosecuting in cases where there was no injury.

So not only did they fail to do anything useful, they also lied to me. ****S.

i knew a chap who had his taxi broken into they nicked his tape and some other things a few weeks later they did it again he was a bit peed off so he started to take his tape out at night and leave the doors open so they wouldn't break the window . but they broke his window again so he decided to put a note on his window saying dont bother breaking the window there is nothing inside . so they broke his window again and left a note saying just checking! and this is true it really happend can you believe the cheek.

Unfortunately there is no middle ground, i just err on the side of caution and regard them all as turncoats. The above very sad story is a reflection of the way things are. Sadly, if you keep on complaining you are labelled as a nuisance and the police will take ages, (if they ever appear at all) to turn up when you need them. You make your own justice in this world. A gallon of creosote around the living room and down the back of the telly usually focus' the skally's attention.
