s2 vs rs4!!!!!!!!!!!

i just have to tell you...............coming home from work about 30 mins ago,i had a little go against a stock rs4! i was so pleased to find there was nothing in it on one of our local By pass's. the only thing i found was my car was starting to loose boost up high in the revs,but still i am very very pleased with the performance
i look forward to giving it another go at Castle Coombe!!!!! does anybody know the date for the avent?????October i think???

car is running Rs2 Turbo and remap + Samco hoses

Not sure what power you're running, but RS4 is 380PS and has very superior torque.

the S2 avant is running 330-337 BHP and 475 nm 350(lbts-ft)

RS4 has 440Nm of torque, but weighs 1695kg. In my book, I reckon in-gear accleration will go the way of James's S2

@ James. NICE !! Glad to see that it is still goin well mate! I am surprised against an RS4 but it does go really well doesnt it! I have had a do with a carrera and it did really well there too!

Hi james looking at your set up and the figures your car is producing i would be very interested in doing this setup myself. Is everything else standard apart from the turbo and hoses? Does the car have any problems running this setup? Anyone no of where i can get a used or reconditioned rs2 turbo?

HI.
as far as i know the car is running standard apart from the turbo and re-map.the only thing i have done is fit samco hoses and a new set of wheels.i have also fitted new plugs,other than that you need to speak to Glen Chambalin,he is on the forum.Glen was the chap who did all the mods! But yes the car seems to go very very well,you can certainly annoy a few superior cars on the road!!!!!

Now you said carrera ! I have beat at the motorway a Carrera 4 while going with 120 km/h till ca. 200! Then there was traffic! But i could not hold up with a brand new Carrera S after 210 km/h! My car was loaded with spare wheels! (RS2 with bad chip)
