      4. You need to get a pair of pliers and pull the end of the pin off, then use an allen key to adjust fuel gauge. I'd only do this if it's way off. I've also found that the fuel computer and autocheck low fuel warnings can be screwed if you mess with this too much.

Have you had the ECU checked for codes Tina? this may show up something

Soory to go off topic Tina, but this is for Jamo

Guy has some on UK ebay, first time I've seen them on sale over here (though they do get shipped from Germany)

        Instrument cluster bezels.

        and Aux gauge bezels.

I had some of these fitted in previous coupes, slightly different in that it also had a surround around the centre computer/autocheck/warning lights.

Bought from this ebay seller here.
Graham has these in his Avant.

How do you get the ecu codes ? Also fuel guage was showing just over the red & said it had 25miles left. I put in £30 of optimax & now shows up 1/2 tank.
Another couple of Q's what oil do i need & what brake fluid ?

Sorry for asking all this, but Jimmy needs to be right

          Tina.

ive use castrol 10w-60RS, should be really good for the turbo.

For brake fluid, i use the original Audi G002000

No ! Audi fluid GOO 2000 is power steering fluid. Yes it helps the brakes as the S2 doesn't use a vacuum servo, but uses the pas pump to charge the brake pressure accumulator, but DO NOT use this as brake fluid.

Use a good Dot 4 or Dot 5.1 for brake fluid.

Hi GR, I had what sounds like exactly the same problem as this on my Avant, it turned out to be a connector had come off after cleaning the engine a bit. as soon as i plugged it back in everything back to normal. I know its a long shot and i am not mechanically minded yet but tryin real hard. check out this thread for a picture of said connector.
