Gotta say they don't look appealing to my taste... and I normally like a 5 spoke rim. Maybe its the centres that put me off, but the wheels are a bit spindly looking.
A8/S8 Avus look *miles* better on the S2 in my opinion.

china? eh?.....im biased as these are one of my favourite sets of rims, Persoanlly i prefer the ones ive got on mine above, but its a variation on the same theme. The s8 rims do look spot on though.

Gav tried the wheels on last night without the tyres and i think they will catch the arm off the strut when a tyre is on .there was only 30 mm clearance they are 8.5 wide.

8.5's fit,
thats what ive got on mine, 8.5x18 (sorry cant rmember et) very close but doesnt catch, ive got conti's on mine wchich have a very square shoulder to them, got a dunlop on my spare whic has a very rounder shoulder and gives way more clearance, will be changing to these when the tims arises, also very close to the front track rod end but ive fitted rose jointed ones which give a bit more clearance due to their design. Loving the dish on yours though, my other half has a set of 9x16 borbett A's on her raddo vr and the dish is pure horn,

ah, just noticed youve got a coupe Andy, the rear suspensions different between the coupe and avant, weve got that daft rear trailing arm that gets in the bloody way. 8.5's defo fit on the avant though
