We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I recently fit 18x18.5 Cup three's with 235x40 Yokohama ES100's, a precise fit with marginal clearance on my coupe, I considered fitting 255's but glad I didn't....at least with the above combination. I believe it is very tyre and rim specific as each manufacturer may have a slightly different interpretation or allowable tolerance for the dimensional widths/offsets....best to ensure you have the option of returning either the tyres or rims if you can't be 100% sure beforehand !
