Hi my car is going into a garage next week for some upgrades and i will have to leave it most of the day .The guys are great but was told it will be taken to another garage for final bit of work so i want to remove the boost if possible i dont trust anybody with her but have no choice so want to do some damage limitation.Hopefully it all should be sitting nicely on its new shocks springs bushes ect and wheels ready for castle coombe.cheers .
How to reduce boost!!!!!!!

Car would run like a sack of **** as the ecu would be a little confused by the air leak. Unplugging the WGFV drops the boost to 0.5bar max. on a standard car and so only makes a slight difference. You could just give it to them with very little fuel in it and then they'd have to take it steady. Rather a large margin for error on that one though!Cheers'en, AndyC

My solution was plug pressure pipe going to WGFW to the WG. If I remember correctly max boost is 0.4 bar.Originally posted by s2driverukyeah i'd have said wgfv is propably the safest bet but know what you mean - i hate to leave mine anywhere...
