RS2 IDing

[flossymeister]

Guys and girl(s),

anyone on here got a LHD RS2? does it have the VIN in the windscreen in the same way as a RHD RS2 does? I've been meaning to ask this for ages but keep on forgetting. Only reason i ask is that i saw one a while back that didn't and the owner claimed LHDs didn't have one in the windscreen....

any experience or opinions gratefully received!

Tim

cheers Robo ,

anyone else too...? i guess windscreens get changed from time-to-time on 11 year old cars and i doubt autoglass would worry about the VIN in the corner necessarily.....

If it is true, i wonder why they only put them on RHDs?? mabe thievery in UK or summat?
