What sort of price does the 2.8 V6 Coupe quattro go for, and was there ever a 2.6 version, I know there was a 2.6 FWD?

I am not 100%, but I am sure that they never did a 2.6Q...just a 2.6E.

You don't want the 2.6 anyway, it is 25bhp down on the 2.8 as not only is it 200cc smaller, but has a diff intake spec. The 2.8 pulls vry well, in fact as well as the S2 over 100

2K will buy you a used version, 3-4K will get you a mint one.

I agree, no 2.6 coupe quattro, not in the uk at least.
Guy yesterday at Combe asked advice on price and where to sell his 2.6 coupe.
Rare as hens teeth it was too, colour was the rare "duck egg blue" (Thanks to MikeS2 for that one). One of eight so I'm told.
Really freaky colour
Myself and Mike both agreed on setting price at £3200 -£3400 and taking no less than £3000 ish.

Nothing to do with the extra 24 PS, A4 quattro (B5) was available as a 2.6 as well as a 2.8. Only engines it wasn't available with in the UK were the 1.6, 1.8 20V n/a and the 2.4 V6. I beleive it was later available as a quattro with the 1.9 TDI 110 and 2.5 TDI.

I have been offered a 1993 Coupe quattro 2.8 V6 for £700, the engine sucked in water and died, may have bent rods, not sure till the seller decides to let it go. It's silver, no tax, MOT'd till April 2006 and has had 3 owners.

i saw that duck egg blue in the car park at Coombe, sure was an odd colour, fraid it did nothing for me... and why did it have an S2 badge on its bum? Never really understood the need to do that on non s2 cars, just like ricer golfs with RS2 badges

Yep, I agree. That black A2 with the LED rings on the grille was badged as an S2 wtf?? Drives me nuts, whats the point?
