Door Thing.. HELP

Hi, this plastic thing that screws on to the end of the rod that attatches to my exterior door handle, that presses down on the door opening mechanism when exterior door handle is lifted has snapped.
Are all audi clips the same,(ie: can my bloke go trudging round mud in the scrap yard) as audi dealer in stoke is closed till monday for parts.
Also i hate having to bend over the passenger seat to push my drivers door open

or has anyone got the part number to get one on monday from Audi.

Hi Tina, I think you should be able to get one from and Audi 80 saloon/Avant, I'm pretty sure they are the same as the Coupe.

Yep, you can get one of any series 3 or 4 A80. PArt number is 893 837 171 .
Should be as cheap as chips from a dealer.

Yeah thats the bit, thanks for you help fella's, gonna try & supaglue & tape it up
Just for the weekend till i can get to Audi.
If it dont work another few days of struggling wont hurt
