You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I need to apologize for my long inactivity on the forum. I'm facing quite a hard period right now mostly due to family problems which are leading to my devorce. Don't want to bore any of you with this nor talk about it too much, being quite a sad subject for me, actually. Anyway the facts are I probably need some time to get back into "normality" (if ever possible) which includes recover some enthusiasm for my mechanical projects which have been completely neglected. Job is also taking most of my time so I'm seriously thinking of getting a more "normal" working vehicle and dismantle the S2.
Marco, Sorry to hear about the family problems I hope things work out for you. Work and cars....never a good thing to mix with families. Unfortunately, it nearly broke my marriage a few months ago too. Keep the S2 until things have settled down, you'll never want a 'normal' car..
But please dont give up the enthusiasme for your mechanical project. We all learned a lot from the stuff you wrote, those where some excellent write ups

Getting everything sorted out for my 5++ hp project
To tell the truth i wanted to dismatle and sell s2 like 5 times so far , but ... every time i get some cash i'm returning to upgrading it .
And it's like 2 years now. What i thought is that this car(hobby) is pleasing me so much that i can't sell it.
Right now thinking of buying a new 6th bmw or M5 .... , but first need to put everything together and atleast drive few thousand km on new(after rebuilt) s2
