I have an extra AAN head that I am thinking of building up to swap onto my car at some point. It has already been port and polished with a five angle valve grind and port matched intake and exhaust ports. It also has stiffer valve springs. Should I go with titanium retainers? Bigger valves? What else? Looking for a setup that will handle 8000rpm safely. Thanks for any tips.
Don't think much larger valves will fit in there. The five angle cut will have given it a bit more flow. You will need to go for custom cams and solid lifters for mega power.
Well worth getting it pressure tested before spending anything on it though..
