You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Left my laptop on last night, woke up to check my emails at approx. 02:00 hrs, cursor responds very jerkily to touchpad, slow and erratic. This morning, cursor won't respond at all! Tried system restore, no joy. Keypad works fine and no error messages showing.
Any ideas? A real pain using the navigation keys.

How slow is slow? Is it the same even with the mouse? How much internet traffic is is generating when doing nothing? Hope you haven't got a nasty infection which is eating up all your resources...

Just bought an external mouse and keyboard and new antivirus software. All back to normal now, although the touchpad is kaput. It's a Sony VAIO. Was getting worked up, just avoided slinging it through the window. :mischeif:

oh a sony well that doesnt suprise me one bit there advent on the inside,i was gonna get one but got the hp zd8079ea instead,the problems with sony stuff a pc store has is unreal all the same probs.
