I think the 32B is a Passat up to 1987 (Santana shape)

I took just over 130 kilos out of my bus by unbolting all the crap and surplus stuff not needed. That all the easy free weight loss. There's maybe another 20 kilos of free weight loss to be had, anything over that will start to cost money. Carbon fibre bonnet is top of list, plastic 'glass', fixed windows in the rear. Carpet and headlining if you could store them safely somewhere etc.... The air con was removed, the aux rad removed that was over 30 kilos gone from in front of the front axle.

With 130 kilos out of the car, it came up by about 1-1.5 inches on the suspension, handled much more nimble, almost nervously I have to say!! but with all the suspension now totaly wrong and the car up by that amount, its no surprise there! if you do this, you MUST have height adjustable suspension.

One side benefit was that the stock brakes could then be used three times before they faded away, thats one more than normal!

I've put my saloon on a serious diet (nearly down to 1360kg with full tank of fuel). Here is a general list of what I did to remove weight or to move it to the rear to help the front/rear balance:
                    - Remove air conditioning (even the evap box in the dash)
                    - light weight aluminum radiator
                    - remove front/rear rebar (USA mod only)
                    - removed the factory spec battery, and installed a lightweight battery (weighing less than half as much)
                    - 16.3 lb wheels for the track 18x8.5" (since sold, though...now using 16x8 UrS4 wheels because they clear my big brakes)
                    - lighter lowering springs (titanium!!)
                    - 996C2 calipers and 993tt rotors with aluminum hats (lighter than G60s and 288mm rotors)
                    - B5 S4 alumium rear calipers & removed splash shields
                    - removed ABS and all associated wiring (heavy!)
                    - chromoly sway bar links
                    - chromoly tie rod assemblies
                    - carbon fiber bonnet
                    - hollow rear ARB.
                    - lightened flywheel
                    - removed padding under carpet front and rear and added lightweight sound deadening material to the front.

So far, the above list is pretty much everything I've done so far. There is a bit more, like no spare tire or jack...just a can of Fix-a-Flat and a membership to a towing company. ;-) I have added some weight in a couple spots, though. Like my engine takes nearly 10L of oil now because of a larger oil cooler, modified oil pan, and an extra tank. More weight could be reduced by removing the stock seats and replacing them with some recaro seats. I've got an engine on the stand that will be lighter, too, along with all forged internals, so that should save me even more weight up front.
That information is classified for now, though.

very intresting information, The seats really sux, they are too heavy by electric engines, also the doors are very heavy.......... but the train rail that they have, maybe can save my life.............. probably i will use fiber doors after a good cage.

                        Damn heavy car!
