Going to look at a van for work tomorrow its a corsa combi with a 2.0 twin cam red top engine
should be fun, any one know about these lumps ive herd they are a good engine and in a
a light weight van it should fly and the reg is S2 4ndy negotiable.
I used to have an astra van with a 2 litre 16v red top engine and gearbox in it (built it myself ). Ran twin 45 webers and was like a rocket (no weight to it really)
Very strong engine the 16v'er. Standard 2 litre vauxhall block with a cosworth designed head. Mine took my abuse for 3 years and I only ever replaced a water pump.
I had a turbo charger to fit off the calibra turbo, but never got round to it as I discovered bikes.
oh, built it with help off a guy called Simon Dawes, some of the VW golf lads may remember him as being the first in the uk to fit a 16v head to an 8v block in the golf.

Very strong engine as the bottom end was designed for turbo applications so NA is no problems. Plenty of knowledge from rallying and racing available out there if you ever want to tune it! In a Corsa van it's going to shift! Shame it's a Corsa though!
