People - I've just been speaking to a journalist from Audi Driver magazine. He is getting comments and information from S2 owners about their cars. Coupes this month. Avants next month apparently...

Do NOT call the magazine directly.

Dunno - this arcticle is focussed on owners experiences.

Thanks to those who have already passed on names & numbers. I don't expect the Avant owners will get a call until next month. He said he wants to concentrate on Coupes this month.

Thanks for the names and numbers so far - I'll pass them on over lunchtime.

Got me thinking that some properly in depth articles could be written about certain vehicles on this forum - either on some of the immaculately kept cars in stock condition or on some of the modified monsters we know about.

We have an ABT C5 in our midst, a minter of a Nothelle N300, some MTM/Dahlback animals and the (in)famous foursome of MRC equipped WMD (Tom, Mark, Doug & Jeffer). Oh and we need a sweet S2 Sedan to round it off - though that could deserve special treatment with an article on its own - such is the rarity of the beast.

I would happily help with the writing, I'm sure we can get some fantastic photographs, along with quotes from the owners, tuners and the necessary statistics for a nice technically interesting article. Sure it will be edited by whatever magazine we approach. Just wondering if there is interest in that...

i reckon that would go down quite well. Audi Driver in particular prefer if articles are writen for them. Darron Edwards who is a member on here has supplied a couple of articles to them in the past also

Its becoming a bad time of year for some reliable photography. I would be happy to volunteer an article in the name of standard mint S2's! But could probably do with some decent photographs being taken. My digital camera is okay but I am not great with it!

Let me know what sort of thing you have in mind Paul...
