    k26/27 hybrid turbo

got some info from turbo dynamics for those of you that know your turbo's
    exhaust side is 64ar
    compressor is secret
they got 404 bhp and 485lb of torque but they said more is achievable depending on who maps it .
part number on turbo is md14.7 is there any other number i need to ask them so i know what exact turbo i have?.

You aren't the only one with one of these... I'm sure I've seen reference to the MD147 name before. Maybe with one of the guys down under running with a conversion kit he imported from the UK.

I strongly suspect that Mihnea will know the internals. He can map that sucker (sorry blower) as you like...

400bhp is about the normal limit for a K26/27 hybrid - tis confusing though cos of the various differences in turbines and compressors. Makes me wonder if any two K26/27 hybrids in the world are actually the same ;-)

No way that turbo can EVER do 400 BHP, not even in KKK's top engineer's sweetest dreams. A few of those that I have mapped do around 320-330 BHP, another one did 360 and that's the highest I've ever seen out of that turbo.

Regardless, I'm still open to see if ONE turbo will do 400 as every car is different, but I'm not holding my breath....

The cold side is marginally larger (27 based compressor wheel, RS2 is 26), the hot side isn't as good as the turbine wheel is back cut...

an RS2 with a decent cat-less exhaust can do around 370-375HP.

Honestly, YES. Now if you want real 400 HP without headaches, the same turbo as Doug's or Tom's will do a great job, with a good potential of 440-450 HP maybe more on a tubular exhaust manifold....

There does seem to be a bit more top end with the MD147 compared to RS2 turbo on engines with similar setups
