Reliable garages in the East midlands
does anyone know of such a place?!?!?......I'm struggling to find someone reliable in the area...I have thought of MRC but that is a 180 mile trip there and back!!....

Where are you based matey
If around leicestershire you want to look out for the lion garage group VW Audi specialists. Very good. There is one in Hinckley, on A47 out of leicester (can't remember exactly where even though I drive past it every day) and there is supposed to be about 4 others in the vicinity.
