I think the main issue was not about racism but all the politically correct stuff, how you cannot say "Fireman" etc.

Its the same problem everywhere, all Europe its full of this kind of problems, full of people that parasit the system and they dont want to work, complaining discrimination all the time.
The main problem came from the past of Europe, the past of racism. Now the politicians says the "political correct position=Tolerance" just to stay away from that, no one have balls to talk hard, like in this forum.

its been going on far too long. tried to ignore it but couldn't . where did you read that artical in the sun ? i must say a very educational paper .if that was said by a muslim he would be done for stirring racial hatred .

I know my facts mate.
Label it any way you want (colonial blah blah whatever) but you can't hide the ugly history of this nation. You and me can prove nothing by typing tit for tat.. but if anyone was to venture into libraries and really find out for themselves, now that would be something!

Fine, I agree the British should make more of a conscious effort to speak a second language, im guilty of that and its something I would like to fix on a personal basis so I dont feel like such an idiot trying to speak broken spanish or french when im away on holiday, but the point is, I try! I try to speak the native tongue as do alot of people over here, but what I cant tolerate is disrespect, where people are willing to come over here and take the **** out of our system and not even bother to learn the language.
I get annoyed with people I know, when I know they can speak perfectly good english yet I see them chatting away in cantonese infront of me. I know they probably arean't saying bad but how do I know? I always ask them to speak english around me. Theres no way on earth I'll be speaking different languages for people that just flood in here and dont make an effort. I will make the effort they should make if ever I have to move country.
When u go round someones house u respect it. Same should be applied to this country and it isnt. Dont get me wrong there are thousands of very honest hard working people who we have the priviledge of having in our country but these people seem to respect our beliefs and our attitudes. But there are to many imigrants that are here for an easy ride and are using human rights as an excuse to walk over us. Again i no thee are a lot of English people that are also taking the pis$ but when u see the Muslim cleric with the hook in the paper getting a very expensive bathroom makeover aswell as his 1k a week for preaching hate against our very own people then this shows this country is in real danger of losing that British element. I honestly believe that in the not to ditant futur this country could have a major civil war unless this is addressed. cheers

Is this not in the "General/Open-Topic" forum? If you wanna talk purely Audi/S2 about 95% of this forum is set aside for that. I think, though the interest is something we all have in common this is more a 'community' of friends that like to talk about not only our cars, but any random stuff and sometimes argue about the same... Hopefully, we can disagree politically and still be mates without b1tchin at each other!
Personally, I think anyone with a bit of sense can see that this country is socially crumbling - and I don't think this can be pointed at any religious or racial group. I've suffered more abuse from the latest Chav generation than any ethnic group, that's for sure.
I'm just grateful of those self-supporting working class folks who are brave enough to continue to raise families - as it seems that due to the working couple image that our government continues to promote, most 'providers' in this country (meaning those that contribute far more in taxes that they take) are having smaller families often with one or no kids, whilst the scum that abuse the great support system this country provides spawn endless armies of 'takers'... should be an interesting population distribution in 20-30 years time.
the one thing im looking forward to is going to europe, germany/poland, mainly cause i have a freind over there. but the other reason i want to go is to see the difference in culture. i dont understand why you would move some where else and try to make it the same as where you came from. Culture is what gives each country its soul (if you will), with out it it becomes the same as every other. I've done alot of research on Germany, and i cannot wait to see what it like, the people, the speech, the way daily life is. I think if you want to change a place to "fit" you, move to an island and piss and moan there, dont ruin it for everyone.
why are british hated so much in every country ? because they refuse to learn or speak anybody else's language even when they go abroad .even if these foriegners were to change their culture they would never be accepted by the british people .look at the black people they have same culture as the british they are christians like the british their way of life is like the british yet they have thir own churches why ? it all comes down to the colour of their skin . i do agree with you there are people who take the pi.. but you can't blame the foriegners all the time i know so many lazy english people who dont want to work because they are better off on the dole .and about the hooked cleric, the organization that he runs was founded by the cia. why? to discredit islam . what he says is totally against islam and its beliefs . so when people like him say things its all over the news . bad publicity and it works .
