Avants wanted for Audi Driver Article

I had another call from a writer at Audi Driver tonight. He and the editor were very happy with the S2 Coupe article based on the contributions from six of us from the forum. I don't actually know which peoples comments got into the article. I was driving at the time (tut tut but its actually not illegal here yet). Apparently it will be out next week.

He has just been told of a very tight timeline for the S2 Avant article which shall be along the same vein - taking comments from real S2 owners about their experiences of the car. I have already passed on contact details for two Avant owners which have already been contacted.

If any other S2 Avant owners wish to have a chance to get their input and a photo of the car in next months magazine then please contact me with your name and a contact phone number. I shall pass these onto the Audi Driver journo... He has a deadline of Monday Dec 5th to get that article to the editor so its quite tight !

I have other ideas for S2 articles in the Audi Driver or Total Audi magazines but thats it for now.

Good stuff - I got about 8 names & numbers for them to chase... This is another great example of how powerful the S2 Forum is... Thanks to all who offered up their names - I'm just sorry it was such short notice.

I would really like to break all the previous records of S2 gathering attendances as the hook for another S2 article that focusses on the forum and the people within it. There is a lot of tips, tricks and tuning information that has only been made possible by the forum... as well as being a great place to share day to day running information about these complicated, understated, forgotton cars which the vast majority of the dealer network is blissfully unaware of.

There's a nice title for the article for us - "Bahstid sons of Ingolstadt"
