I,m looking for picture,s from anybody who got black headlining in there COUPE .please post a picture of it so i can see how it looks like maybe someone knows :if the colour is realy BLACK or is it more like DARK GREY .????? {all or almost all of them have HELLBEIGE headlineing }
I've never actually seen it but it was available in beige, platinum(dark grey), and anthracite(black). It's no longer available of course.
There was a forum member that had it in his car, but we never got to see any pics of it. I'd like it myself, depite the fact that it will probably make my car look like the inside of a hearse.
Nuvo.

Hmm,Alcantara is beautyfull .and i have heard some more people putting it on the A/B/C pillar and on the headlineing. i hope that someone wil post pictures of that too sometime .Alcantara is available in so many nice colours that i cant make up my mind wat colour too choose. so i like to stay with the factory original parts now i wonder if the Platinum GREY headlineing is the SAME colour like the headlineing in an original RS2 {avant}.because that headlineing is also grey/black instead of HELLBEIGE.
I've not a coupe (non-S2) with a black headlining (part of a 'sports interior' pack according to the guy I bought it from along with black part leather seats and carbon trims. An all black interior - it looks fabulous).
Sorry dont have any pictures and its dark by the time I get home from work (I cycle) so I cannot take one till the weekend. But it really is black and not just a dark grey.
Can't you just 'paint' it? I mean, I've seen painted headlinings that looked good but those weren't all fuzzy like the headliner in an Audi. I do believe it might work...
I found out non s2,s with a :sport edition interieur got black headlineing mostly they have 2.0 ltr engines these were late Coupe,s build in 94/95 ...i look and i will find

Very interesting. That's something I wasn't aware of.
this is the platinum GREY headlineing ,i thought it would be darker coloured, i wonder if 3B S2,s only have BEIGE headlineing? and later ABY models got that platininum GREY one. maybe that beige headlineing came with BEIGE leather and GREY headlineing with GREY leather. {still looking for BLACK headlineing }.
Got time to take and upload the photos of the black headlining you were interested in.
Sorry not the clearest photos - the contrast gave my camera phone a hard time.
This sports interior option has been included in my 1995 2.0E (ABK) coupe and makes the interior look very nice. From the outside, the all black interior makes the standard tint on the windows look darker.
