CREAM at Royal Albert Hall being shown on PBS in USA..

Good Lord what a concert that must have been!! Watching Baker, Bruce and Clapton having a hell of a good time playing together again was great. I tell my nephews that CREAM were the first and still the best virtuosos on their instruments and still the greatest power trio of all time. The bands today still don't know how to play their instruments properly. Ginger Baker could teach some of these younger drummer how to beat the skins in time instead of bashing them. Long Live CREAM and Eric is still God!

No my bag, although i know Clapton as he supports West Bromwich Albion and my Baggies mates always go on about him and Frank Skinner being the biggest fans in midlands football. (Although i think Prince Willaim being an Aston Villa fan takes some beating both pale in comparrison to great Jasper Carrot!)

Seriously what type of music, i saw the thread and i thought it was about CREAM in liverpool. They were great nights! used to travel from Birmingham to go to them.

Every rock band since 67 owes something to CREAM. From the type of guitars to the way the drums are setup to sonics of the way the bass guitar is tuned.
