      1) Alloy V8s are lighter than our engines
      2) I suspect it won't fall out
      3) Better than ours, due to the above

Apart from the better sound, lighter weight, better reliability, lack of boost leaks, whats's so good about the 4.2 40v V8?

Would love a Coupe with the V8 in cos it does sound awesome!
I should think, being a cylinder shorter, it might mount back a bit further as well, putting the weight more over the axle, so it probably wont do the handling any harm either!

Like Clarkson said, Audi always mount the engines up in front of the headlights LOL!

the v8 have alusylinder, like in the lawnmover.....you cant hone the sylinder, and cant change the pistonrings, they arent P/N......the sound are great, but when it uses oil(burn oil) the sylwall are gone.cant rebore it.

But then again, when you can go to the breakers and buy a new bottom end for like SEK7500 - who cares? Just run it 'til it's dead and get a new one. Keep the heads and all essentials and just change the bottom end once it's gone.

                            (£1=SEK13)
