What's the tank at the back, left?

    Hi-

not sure really where this one goes, so here'll do... there's a tank at the back, left of the car (by the exhaust that's got a very slight weeping round the bung. Is this for rear washer fluid?? And any ideas where I can get a new bung thing from - looks like it's just old and the rubber is perishing.

    Cheers

are you looking at this from underneath the car? If so then what i think u can see is the rubber drain bung which is plugging the well underneath the plastic bucket thingy under the bootflap. If its weeping then you might have some water in the well, not unusal, just bloody annoying

If it's on the left, surely it's in the well for the spare wheel?

Washer bottle and that bucket thing are on the right - well, they are in a coupe!

Yeah you're right, just straight water in the wheel well (at least it tastes like it - don't ask - I was worried it might be some nasty but important fluid leaking) - I wasn't sure if there was some tank down there though - had a look at the little fold-out refil thingy for the rear washer; thought it was a built in port-a-potty at first (OK not really) and yes it's on the RHS.

Cheers for the quick response guys! How's the car going anyway Dave? Any new projects? My rear caliper hasn't stuck since so good job there mate! Handbrake is being really **** though; won't hold on a hill - Mihnea reckons it could be the cable. For now I just leave it gear to be sure.
        Cheers
