i currently live in brussels and lived in manchester for 3 years. liege and the roughest areas of brussels are like disneyland compared to manchester

example - bike gets stolen from garden. 10 days later we spot some kids riding that bike. we retrieve the bike. 30min later "dad" is kicking our door down saying give back the bike or we'll burn your house down. after arguments and punches, he finally takes the bike. cops arrive 2hrs later saying "we advise you not to press charges because they will burn your house down"

people get woken up in their bed at knifepoint, beaten up on the bus at 10am for no reason and walking around certain areas at night will 90% get you in a fight

Sounds like Salford to me, Any place is as rough as or as bad as you want to make it though.

Remember being in France and on T.V they a place in Birmingham as being the biggest blackspot in europe which was highly amusing!

This makes me feel nauseous with rage !!! I know it's easier said than done, but I think I would've told that " righteous dad thief " to go fook himself and tell him " Burn down my house and I'll burn down yours with you in it... Go on and try me "

Come on Ski, do you honestly think that guy would've burned down a house over a bicycle dispute ??? Bullies like that always bark very loudly but fold just as fast if you stand up to them...

I'm short tempered and when I read that the thief had actually had the nerve to reclaim an already stolen bicycle, I was fuming !

Know thyself is my motto and I know for sure that if such a residue escaped from a used condom had threatened to burn down my house after having already stolen from me.... I mean what else do you need to unleash the psychopath beast that we all have in us ?

Here I go, I'm fuming again just thinking how bad I would react to such a threat !!!

i know what u mean, but u do get nutters who would do that. And in the post above there was a mention of punches flying here and there.

Personally I would drag him into my houes and unleash my rottwilers onto him (upstairs offcourse), but i woudnt say "go on then, burn my house down, i dare ya" specially when there are children living in my house and i claim responsibility for it (which i dont but just as an example )
