    Spacers for offset correction query

Not too sure where to post this so thought of here!!.....
If you put spacers on your hubs to offset the wheels, does this cause premature where on the wheel bearings or any other steering bits??.....As I'm thinking of getting some wheels with an offset of 45 but am concerned about causing myself to much grief with my credit card!!!....

Let me know what you think

If you are fitting wheel spacers to bring the offset back to the original specification of the car then there should be no issues.
If you are fitting them to get a wider stance then this will promote premature wheel bearing failure.
You should be ok with a spacer behind those et45 wheels, infact they won't fit if you don't use wheels spacers.
