i tried my air con and climate control today ( i know its freezing outside ) to make sure it continues to work in the summer but the switch( with snow flake sign )dosen't seem to engage if i keep it pressed it comes on but when i let go it disengages again . are they tempreture sensitive ? couldn't tell if the air con was coming on as it was cold anyway.also the bulbs in the background are not working ( from before ) is there easier way of getting to them without having to dissmantle half of the dash .

Below 5 deg c the aircon switches off.
How do I know that?
I wired my car stereo switched ignition feed from it. My stereo don't work when its really cold.
