    Intercooler size

    Hi,

Does anyone know if a front mounted intercooler 550 x 220 x 70 core size would be good enough for 430ish bhp? oh water injected too.

    Thanks,

    Darren.

I have always had the water just a little at the top end just gives it a liitle protection.

Ive just ordered the highflow inlet manifold from 034 to get rid of some of the pipework and currently setting it up with twin intercoolers as per my previous pictures, but wondering whether to get a custom intercooler made to fit across the front, the biggest i could fit is as the above. its definitely not as much capacity as what the two would provide but have no idea how laggy the twin system would be. Im looking for 430-450ish if the intercooler size mentioned above would handle it that would be the best approach.

What core size is it and who made it for you? i sent an email to a company called Allisport just to get some prices pretty good web site. At the moment i have got two like this, the 034 front entry manifold will get rid of the pipework infact just over a meter.. the BB turbo should help with lag, i cant help thinking that this set up will be more efficient than the single one as mentioned above.

Core size is 400x250x100 excluding the end tanks.

It's my design and available from me. It's primarily for the 10v. It won't fit if you are using the 034 inlet, I have done them for the RR.
